Steward's Report
Tranquil Blaze and Smoking Ember were slow out. That's Trendy, Tranquil Blaze and Miss Flair collided soon after the start. Smoking Ember and Bemery Boy collided approaching the first turn. Brindle Bug raced wide on the first turn. Smoking Ember contacted the rail approaching the second turn and lost ground. Tranquil Blaze and Miracle Star collided on the second turn. Miss Flair checked off the heels of Brindle Bug entering the back straight. Miss Flair galloped on the heels of Brindle Bug on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Flair and Brindle Bug collided on the home turn. Miss Flair veered out and fought Brindle Bug entering the home straight.
Miss Flair was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered a slight injury to the right shoulder, no stand down period was imposed. Acting under AGRR80.1, Stewards charged Miss Flair for fighting and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at The Meadows and also directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, pursuant to AGRR81.1, before any future nomination.
