Steward's Report
Nicky Noo was slow out. Tiger Genes and Key Intent collided soon after the start. Tiger Genes checked off the heels of Key Intent approaching the first turn. Heza Burra and Kid Cutler collided on the first turn checking Heza and Girrawarra Goofy causing Kid Cutler to fall. Tiger Genes checked off the heels of Nicky Noo approaching the second turn. Trendy Oak and Key intent collided several times approaching the third turn and again approaching the home turn checking Trendy Oak, Key Intent and Nicky Noo.
Kid Cutler was vetted following the event and when presented to the Vet's Room was found to be clinically "brain dead" as a result of brain trauma occasioned as a result of the fall on the first turn. The greyhound was deceased within a short period. A blood sample was retrieved from the greyhound.
