Benara Point, Rafferty Bale and Catch The Action were slow out. Squidworth and Miss Itch collided soon after the start. Miss Itch and Sisco Go Go collided soon after the start. Bertram Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Squidworth and Miss Itch. Benara Point, Squidworth and Bertram Bale collided on the first turn checking Squidworth, Rafferty Bale, Bertram Bale and Catch The Action. Miss Itch and Bertram Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Squidworth and Bertram Bale, severely checking Miss Itch and Sisco Go Go. Miss Itch stumbled as a result. Benara Point and Catch The Action collided on the second turn. Rafferty Bale and Catch The Action collided entering the back straight.
Miss Itch was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound.
