Steward's Report
Saint Galore was a late scratching at 6:15pm due to illness.
Black Presence and Sigrid Sal were slow out. Rapid Deception and Efjay collided on the first turn checking Efjay. Claretown Tiger crossed to the outside approaching the second turn checking Mepunga East, Rapid Deception, Efjay and Sigrid Sal. Claretown Tiger and Sigrid Sal collided on the second turn. Claretown Tiger was checked off the heels of Black Presence approaching the home turn.
Claretown Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have suffered split webbing and will be stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Mr C. Warner, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn. Acting under AGRR85 Stewards directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, before any future nomination.
