Steward's Report

Kentucky Fool and Phone Home were slow out. Smooth Harbour was checked off the heels of Leprechaun Hop on the first turn checking Cuthbert Brave. Proven Serene and Kentucky Fool collided on the first turn checking Proven Serene which subsequently contacted the running rail and lost ground. Kentucky Fool and Phone Home collided entering the front straight. What About Tom and Imelda Bale collided approaching the third turn. What About Tom eased entering the back straight checking Imelda Bale as a result. Proven Serene and Imelda Bale collided on the home turn. Proven Serene vetted - No Apparent Injury. What About Tom vetted - No Apparent Injury. Samples were taken from Leprechaun Hop winner of the event. Stewards spoke to Mr S. Elsum trainer of the greyhound What About Tom in regards to the greyhounds racing manner in the back straight. Acting under AGRR 80.2 Stewards charged the greyhound with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and imposed a 28 day stand down at the Meadows, and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial all tracks pursuant to AGRR 81.1 before any further nomination will be accepted.
