Steward's Report
Neewfire Onfire, Dr. Flavia and Vandeven were slow out. Rose Jones and Sky Hazzard collided soon after the start. Newfire Onfire, Dr. Flavia and Vandeven collided soon after the start checking Newfire Onfire and Dr. Flavia. Rose Jones, Sky Hazzard and Bowstreet Gypsy collided on the first turn checking Bowstreet Gypsy. Newfire Onfire and Dr. Flavia collided on the first turn. Newfire Onfire, Dr. Flavia and Sky Hazzard collided on the second turn checking Newfire Onfire and Dr. Flavia. Sky Hazzard checked off the heels of Rose Jones on the third turn. Vandeven and Kobble Flex collided approaching the home turn. Kobble Flex and Rose Jones collided entering the home straight. Rose Jones eased in the home straight.
Rose Jones was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sutained an injury to the right triangle and right thigh muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 98(1)(d), Stewards charged Rose Jones with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.
