Fergossen was slow out. Striving Dream and Booma Bozo collided soon after the start. Striving Dream, Booma Bozo and Just A Joke collided approaching the first turn checking Striving Dream and Booma Bozo. Ruben Jack, Fergossen and Rush's Flight collided on the first turn checking Ruben Jack and Rush's Flight. Swiller galloped on the heels of Just A Joke approaching the home turn checking Ruben Jack severely checking Striving Dream and Just A Joke and causing Swiller to fall. Ruben Jack and Fergossen collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Booma Bozo and Rush's Flight collided entering the home straight.
Swiller was vetted after the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazes all over. There was no stand down period imposed.
Swiller was re-vetted after race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to the scrotum requiring stitches. A 21 days stand down period was imposed.
