Steward's Report
Queen Amidala and Chaucer Bale were slow out. Queen Amidala and Patrick Shiraz collided approaching the first turn checking Regal Tiger. Tinas Jo and Regal Tiger collided on the first turn checking Regal Tiger. Queen Amidala checked off the heels of Single Crown on the third turn. Single Crown and Patrick Shiraz collided on the home turn. Single Crown and Queen Amidala collided in the home straight.
Single Crown was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was injured in the right hind toe. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Single Crown down from competing for 14 days.
A swab sample was taken from Patrick Shiraz, the winner of the Event.
