Ranchress, Kentucky Steel and Highly Flammable were slow out. Dashing Lil and Ultimate Miss collided soon after the start. Ruby Magic checked off the heels of Full On Magic soon after the start. Ultimate Miss and Ripa collided approaching the first turn. Ruby Magic checked off the heels of Ultimate Miss on the first turn. Kentucky Steel and Highly Flammable raced wide on the first turn. Ultimate Miss and Ripa collided on the third turn. Full On Magic and Ranchress collided on the home turn. Ruby Magic was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. A swab sample was taken from Ranchress, the winner of the Event.
