Sagres Solrac checked off the heels of Winning Intent approaching the home turn. Rapid Cherry and Bubbles Ahoy collided on the home turn. Rapid Cherry and Winning Intent collided entering the home straight. Rapid Cherry and Elmbank's Gold collided in the home straight.
Stewards delayed giving the all clear and reviewed the race replay footage after the lure hit a plover in the home straight. Stewards deemed this to be an unavoidable racing incident that did not prevent the completion of the event. The event was declared to be all clear.
