Steward's Report
Shady Grove Fox was very slow out. Melinda Leigh and Deadly Drop were slow out. Melinda Leigh and Horizon Dance collided at the 200mtr mark. Gotcha Thinking and Exquisette Holly collided at the 150mtr mark. Horizon Dance checked off the heels of Melinda Leigh at the 100mtr mark. Pat Pong checked off the heels of Gotcha Thinking at the 75mtr mark and stumbled as a result, checking Melinda Leigh and inconvenienced Exquisette Holly. Melinda Leigh checked off the heels of Gotcha Thinking approaching the winning post.
Melinda Leigh was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lower back injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr.P. Micallef catcher of Horizon Dance and issued him a warning for failure to comply with the dress code.
