A pre-race sample was taken from American Tank. American Tank and My Trumpet Lily were quick to begin. Sisco Bo and Go Andy collided soon after the start checking Go Andy. Baggy Road and Andy Hardy collided soon after the start. Baggy Road, Andy Hardy and River Dawn collided on the first turn checking Andy Hardy. River Dawn was checked off Sisco Bo on the home turn. Sisco Bo and Final Shiraz collided in the home straight. Andy Hardy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
