Steward's Report
Crafty Mark went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Amedeo crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Kyrazzi and Desoto. Kyrazzi, Southwood Danny and Desoto collided on the first turn checking Desoto. Amedeo, Southwood Danny and Arvo's Chita collided on the first turn checking Amedeo, Desoto and Crafty Mark. Crafty Mark contacted the running rail on the home turn. Amedeo raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Zorro Fire and Desoto collided entering the home straight.
Amedeo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Zorro Fire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's spoke to Mrs. S. Trim the handler of Zorro Fire regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
