A pre race sample was taken from Miss Louise.
Miss Louise and Rancho Texicano were quick to begin. Miss Louise crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Jungle Hero and Undercover Girl. Exford Sue, Beyond Brooklyn and Single Man collided soon after the start checking Beyond Brooklyn. Exford Sue checked off Single Man approaching the first turn. Beyond Brooklyn checked off Jungle Hero approaching the first turn. Exford Sue, Jungle Hero and Undercover Girl collided on the first turn checking Exford Sue. Jungle Hero and Undercover Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Undercover Girl. Undercover Girl and Exford Sue collided on the home turn checking Undercover Girl and Beyond Brooklyn. Miss Louise and Jungle Hero raced wide entering the home straight.
Undercover Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left hind toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
