Steward's Report

Dioro went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Skip La Har was slow to begin. Tony's Favourite and Kate Wonder collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Flaming Paddy, Sisco Big and Tough Defender collided soon after the start checking Sisco Big. Flaming Paddy and Tough Defender collided on the first turn checking Flaming Paddy. Dioro and Skip La Har collided on the home turn checking Skip La Har. Skip La Har and Tough Defender collided on the home turn. Tony's Favourite and Flaming Paddy collided several times entering the home straightr and again in the home straight checking Flaming Paddy which stumbled as a result. Tony's Favourite and Kate Wonder collided approaching the winning post. Stewards noted that the muzzle of Kate Wonder became dislodged during the running of the event. Flaming Paddy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze injury to its left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.
