Midnight Swirl was slow to begin. Dancing Eskimo crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Strawberry Rose, Braemar Lass, Midnight Swirl, Burnsy's Style and Sooty Smith. Strawberry Rose and Sooty Smith collided at the 275m mark. Braemar Lass and Midnight Swirl collided at the 275m mark. Braemar Lass crossed to the outside approaching the winning post checking Midnight Swirl.
Shared was vetted following the Event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left quadriceps and left hip. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
