Mr J Fowler, trainer of Harlem Shake redeclared a new weight of 29.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Harlem Shake last raced at 30.5kg.
Van Gerwen was slow to begin. Shrek's Phantom and Arvo's Samaras collided soon after the start, checking Shrek's Phantom. Arvo's Samaras crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Who Dey and Red Flynn. Harlem Shake checked off Coop's Surprize on the first turn, checking Van Gerwen. Red Flynn and Who Dey colided in the home straight checking Red Flynn.
Shrek's Phantom was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
