The start of this event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to loss of vision from Sky Channel 1 just prior to the start, subsequently the race was started with no vision.
Soho Dingane was slow to begin. Mini Marvel, Sandy Point and Keith's Fiasco collided several times soon after the start, checking Mini Marvel and Keith's Fiasco. Soho Dingane checked off Keith's Fiasco on the first turn. Sandy Point and Soho Dingane collided approaching the home turn, checking Sandy Point.
