A pre-race sample was taken from Ellava Flyer.
Ntro Neddie and Boris Flames were quick to begin. Golden Dreams turned in the boxes and subsequently tailed off. Riverside Wade, Ellava Flyer and Simply Maybe collided soon after the start checking Riverside Wade and Ellava Flyer. Boris Flames and Assertive Seer collided on the first turn checking Assertive Seer which lost considerable ground as a result.
Assertive Seer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Golden Dreams was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards established that Golden Dreams turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Golden Dreams was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
Stewards issued a warning to the handler of Golden Dreams Ms. A. Micheli regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound.
