Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Maxi Taxi.

Mohawk Mako, Rusty's Cape and Maxi Taxi were slow to begin.  Tina's Tiddles, Rusty's Cape, Maxi Taxi and Deborah Rose collided soon after the start.  High Drama, Mohawk Mako and Tina's Tiddles collided soon after the start checking Mohawk Mako and Tina's Tiddles, severely checking Indianna Belle.  High Drama eased approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Mohawk Mako and Rusty's Cape collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Indianna Belle and Doomsday Clock collided approaching the winning post checking Doomsday Clock.

High Drama was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr O. Fraser.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged High Drama with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Fraser pleaded guilty and was found guilty.  Stewards suspended High Drama for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(A)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
