An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Buckle Up Vicki engaged in this event on Wednesday 10 December pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Stadium Dancer.

Buckle Up Vicki, Stadium Dancer and Alisha Jewel were slow to begin.  Still Bluffing and Quick Release collided soon after the start checking Quick Release.  Where Are We and Aristos collided approaching the first turn.  Stadium Dancer and Quick Release collided on the first turn checking Quick Release.  Buckle Up Vicki checked off Brandy's Puzzle approaching the home turn.  Buckle Up Vicki and Alisha Jewel raced wide in the home straight.  Still Bluffing raced wide approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hez All Black.

Amaroo Chaos and Van Nostrum were quick to begin.  Kyle's Express was slow to begin.  Hez All Black, Kyle's Express, Hold On Nitro and Isa Hillbilly collided soon after the start checking Kyle's Express.  Kyle's Express crossed to the outside approaching the first turn.  Hez All Black and Hold On Nitro collided approaching the first turn.  Hez All Black brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Arvo's Nico and Amaroo Chaos collided on the first turn checking Amaroo Chaos.  Hold On Nitro checked off Isa Hillbilly on the home turn.  Kyle's Express raced wide entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ellava Flyer.

Ntro Neddie and Boris Flames were quick to begin.  Golden Dreams turned in the boxes and subsequently tailed off.  Riverside Wade, Ellava Flyer and Simply Maybe collided soon after the start checking Riverside Wade and Ellava Flyer.  Boris Flames and Assertive Seer collided on the first turn checking Assertive Seer which lost considerable ground as a result.

Assertive Seer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Golden Dreams was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards established that Golden Dreams turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Golden Dreams was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

Stewards issued a warning to the handler of Golden Dreams Ms. A. Micheli regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound. 

Bell's Hustler was a late scratching at 11:38am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon (GAR 37).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Red Kali.

Black Samsara and Prince Nando were quick to begin.  Avatar Bobby and Ima Goodin were slow to begin.  Black Samsara, Red Kali and Prince Nando collided soon after the start checking Red Kali.  Extra Stars galloped on the heels of Avatar Bobby on the first turn, severely checking Avatar Bobby.  Extra Stars checked off Flamenco Stealth approaching the home turn.

Flamenco Stealth was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 8.  It was reported that the greyhound had cardiac arrythmia.  Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Boyce, the trainer of Flamenco Stealth and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

A pre-race sample was taken from Irish Sparkle.

Black And Pretty was slow to begin.  Senor Tab, Macalister Mary, We Borta Chief and Heavenly Star collided soon after the start checking Macalister Mary, We Borta Chief and Heavenly Star.  We Borta Chief and Heavenly Star collided on the first turn.  Irish Sparkle and Hit Star collided on the first turn checking Irish Sparkle.  We Borta Chief galloped on the heels of Polar Bee approaching the home turn, severely checking Polar Bee, We Borta Chief and Heavenly Star.  We Borta Chief and Heavenly Star collided on the home turn checking Heavenly Star.

A pre-race sample was taken from Charlotte Belle.

Charlotte Belle and Lady Magic were quick to begin.  Cantona and Dashing Diesel were slow to begin.  Dashing Diesel checked off Arvo's Echo approaching the first turn checking Damn Nuisance.  Charlotte Belle and Lady Magic collided on the first turn, severely checking Charlotte Belle which lost considerable ground as a result.  Cantona checked off Lady Magic approaching the home turn which raced wide as a result, checking Arvo's Echo.

Arvo's Echo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Where's Neo engaged in this event on Wednesday 10 December pursuant to GAR 79A.

J. Brooks, trainer of Good For You redeclared a new weight of 35.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Good For You last raced at 34.5kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Good For You.

Where's Neo, Daintree Mustang, Streaming and Good For You were slow to begin.  Miss Black Ash, Streaming, Good For You and Tsunami Joe collided approaching the first turn checking Good For You and Tsunami Joe.  Maybe Cheap and Golden Meleni collided on the first turn checking Maybe Cheap and Streaming, severely checking Daintree Mustang which stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Streaming raced wide on the home turn.

Daintree Mustang was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Burns trainer regarding the direction that the greyhound Where's Neo be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Olliemax.

Amaroo My Girl and Mr. Tee were quick to begin.  Ruff Edges and Ricky Fields were slow to begin.  Gold Bullion crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Olliemax and Go Red Kev.  Amaroo My Girl and Mr. Tee collided on the first turn checking Mr. Tee, severely checking Amaroo My Girl which stumbled, checking Olliemax, Ruff Edges and Smurf's Jacko as a result.  Ricky Fields and Mr. Tee collided approaching the home turn.  Smurf's Jacko raced wide on the home turn.

Mohawk Mako, Rusty's Cape and Maxi Taxi were slow to begin.  Tina's Tiddles, Rusty's Cape, Maxi Taxi and Deborah Rose collided soon after the start.  High Drama, Mohawk Mako and Tina's Tiddles collided soon after the start checking Mohawk Mako and Tina's Tiddles, severely checking Indianna Belle.  High Drama eased approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Mohawk Mako and Rusty's Cape collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Indianna Belle and Doomsday Clock collided approaching the winning post checking Doomsday Clock.

High Drama was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr O. Fraser.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged High Drama with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Fraser pleaded guilty and was found guilty.  Stewards suspended High Drama for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(A)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shaggy Ben.

Stylish Dancer and Go Grumpy were quick to begin.  Go Grumpy crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Shaggy Ben, Miss Cloud Nine and Ginger Pieces.  Go Grumpy, Miss Cloud Nine and Uno Nando collided on the first turn.  Shaggy Ben galloped on the heels of Uno Nando on the first turn checking Shaggy Ben, Uno Nando and Ginger Pieces.  Go Grumpy and Miss Cloud Nine collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Miss Cloud Nine.  Shaggy Ben and Ginger Pieces collided in the home straight checking Ginger Pieces.  Uno Nando, Miss Cloud Nine and Tooradale raced wide in the home straight.

Marry Rich and Captain Cotchie were quick to begin.  Zipity Do Dah, Midori Moment and Valletta Knight were slow to begin.  Marry Rich and Rozehill Maisie collided approaching the first turn checking Marry Rich.  Midori Moment and Valletta Knight collided approaching the first turn checking Valletta Knight, Sonic Barnsey and Zipity Do Dah.  Valletta Knight and Sonic Barnsey collided on the first turn checking Sonic Barnsey.  Marry Rich, Zipity Do Dah and Sonic Barnsey collided in the home straight checking Marry Rich.

So Far Away was a late scratching at 3:17pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the right triceps and right shoulder, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Gifted Man and Lacka Detail were quick to begin. Talenroy, Our Wilfred and Jazz Artist were slow to begin. Runaway Ellie galloped on Lacka Detail approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Jazz Artist raced wide on the home turn.

 Meeting Comments:

Santa's Hope trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 24.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.32 , the greyhound won by a margin of 4.5 lengths. Santa's Hope was cleared.

Shake 'Em Up trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 23.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.32 , the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9 lengths.  Shake 'Em Up was not cleared.
