Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Where's Neo engaged in this event on Wednesday 10 December pursuant to GAR 79A.
J. Brooks, trainer of Good For You redeclared a new weight of 35.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Good For You last raced at 34.5kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Good For You.
Where's Neo, Daintree Mustang, Streaming and Good For You were slow to begin. Miss Black Ash, Streaming, Good For You and Tsunami Joe collided approaching the first turn checking Good For You and Tsunami Joe. Maybe Cheap and Golden Meleni collided on the first turn checking Maybe Cheap and Streaming, severely checking Daintree Mustang which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Streaming raced wide on the home turn.
Daintree Mustang was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Burns trainer regarding the direction that the greyhound Where's Neo be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
