Steward's Report
Bull Bar Maisie was quick to begin. Tear Away Damo checked off Slow Cooker on the first turn. Tear Away Damo and Bull Bar Maisie collided on the home turn.
A sample was taken from Slow Cooker - the winner of the event.
Dynamic Dash was vetted following the event and revetted following event eight. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left stifle, a five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Niele, trainer of Dynamic Dash regarding the greyhounds racing manners over the concluding stages. Mr. Niele stated that Dynamic Dash has a tendency to strike itself in its races and felt in his opinion the greyhound had struck itself approaching the winning post. Stewards noted Mr. Niele's comments and took no further action.
