Mr. J. Hardy was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Dee Runk pursuant to GAR 33.
Mr. P. Keane, trainer of Mighty Sam redeclared a new weight of 31.7 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mighty Sam last raced at 33.1.
Lektra Robbie was slow to begin. Jim Trott and Mighty Sam collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Counting Stars crossed to the rails soon after the start, checking Jim Trott and Mighty Sam. Somebody's Image checked off Jim Trott on the first turn. Counting Stars galloped on the heels of Dee Runk on the first turn, checking Jim Trott and Dee Runk. Somebody's Image and Dee Runk collided on the home turn. Jim Trott and Counting Stars collided several times in the home straight.
