Peloton Bale was slow to begin. Tiggerlong Amigo, Hekate Belle and Oscura collided soon after the start. Oscura and Nockabout Aussie collided approaching the first turn. Oscura galloped on the heels of Nockabout Aussie on the first turn checking Allen Deed, Oscura and Nockabout Aussie. Star Recall and Tiggerlong Amigo collided approaching the second turn. Peloton Bale, Hekate Belle and We Are Geelong collided approaching the second turn checking We Are Geelong. We Are Geelong checked off Nockabout Aussie on the third turn. Oscura and Nockabout Aussie collided approaching the home turn. Peloton Bale and Nockabout Aussie collided in the home straight. Allen Deed raced wide in the home straight.
