An Out of Competition sample was taken from Born Ali engaged in this event on Tuesday 11th November 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
An Out of Competition sample was taken from Zipping Rory engaged in this event on Tuesday 11th November 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Starc, Becci Leone and Zipping Rory were slow to begin. Starc and Zipping Rory collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Joe and Shot To Bits collided on the first turn checking Zipping Joe and Blinker's On, severely checking Born Ali which stumbled and tailed off and causing Starc, Shot To Bits and Zipping Rory to fall. Zipping Joe and Blinker's On collided on the second turn.
Born Ali was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Starc was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left wrist and left hind webbing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Shot To Bits was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right hock. A 30 day stand down period was imposed.
Zipping Rory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to it's left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
