An Out of Competition sample was taken from Sisco Rage engaged in this event on Tuesday 11th November 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Dyna Kayla was quick to begin. Lady Toy, Ima Fairytale and Beks were slow to begin. Zipping Maggie and Dyna Kayla collided on the first turn checking Dyna Kayla and Julie Bale. Beks checked off Julie Bale approaching the fourth turn. Ima Fairytale and Lady Toy collided entering the back straight checking Ima Fairytale and Acola Rosebud. Zipping Maggie, Dyna Kayla and Beks collided approaching the home turn. Sisco Rage and Julie Bale collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Beks and Dyna Kayla collided in the home straight. Ima Fairytale tailed off in the home straight.
Ima Fairytale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right triceps and right thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Cachia, trainer of the greyhound Ima Fairytale. Stewards deemed the performance of Ima Fairytale unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ima Fairytale must peform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A sample was taken from the first three placegetters in this event - Beks (1st), Zipping Maggie (2nd) and Dyna Kayla (3rd).
