Humphrey Bale was quick to begin.  Creative Karisma, Oakvale Destiny, Top Secret and Weston East were slow to begin.  Top Secret and Weston East collided soon after the start.  Oakvale Destiny, Top Secret and Weston East collided approaching the first turn.  Oakvale Destiny and Weston East collided on the first turn.  Humphrey Bale checked off Above All on the second turn.  Creative Karisma and Oakvale Destiny collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn checking Kiss Me Ketut and Creative Karisma.  Humphrey Bale and Oakvale Destiny collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Dyna Yemen and Wind Whistler were slow to begin.  Hostile and All Strung Out collided approaching the first turn.  Awesome Project, Ritza Hattie, Mepunga Armagh and Secret Spell collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Secret Spell.  All Strung Out checked off Ritza Hattie approaching the second turn checking Mepunga Armagh and Secret Spell.  Hostile and Ritza Hattie collided in the back straight and again on the third turn checking All Strung Out and Wind Whistler.  Dyna Yemen and Wind Whistler collided approaching the home turn checking Dyna Yemen; Dyna Yemen contacted the running rail as a result.  Hostile and Ritza Hattie collided in the home straight.

Dyna Yemen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Reap The Benefit was slow to begin.  Mepunga Tiara and Coulta Rock collided soon after the start.  Galloping Rocky crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Reap The Benefit, Mepunga Tiara, Coulta Rock, Double Rinse, Big Kat and Shall She Rock.  Reap The Benefit checked off Coulta Rock approaching the second turn checking Mimicking.  Big Kat and Shall She Rock collided approaching the second turn.  Mepunga Tiara and Big Kat collided on the second turn severely checking Double Rinse and Big Kat.  Coulta Rock and Shall She Rock collided on the third turn and again on the fourth turn.  Reap The Benefit and Mepunga Tiara collided on the fourth turn.  Mimicking and Mepunga Tiara collided on the fifth turn.  Double Rinse and Galloping Rocky collided approaching the winning post.

GRV Industry Veterinary Officer Dr. Steven Karamatic conducted a veterinary examination of Banjo Boy on Wednesday 12th November at the property of Trainer Mr. Ken Virtue, following the scratching of the greyhound from the Shootout on 6 November,and passed the greyhound fit to race at that stage. As per normal race night procedure, the greyhound was also vetted upon presentation tonight in accordance with GAR 37(1) and again passed fit to race.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. C. Grenfell, handler of the greyhound Buckle Up Mason regarding a breach of the dress code (LRR 22.3(a)).

Banjo Boy was slow to begin.  Clash Of Kings, Warrior King and Buckle Up Mason collided soon after the start checking Warrior King.  Clash Of Kings and Buckle Up Mason collided approaching the first turn checking Kerrigan Bale.  Banjo Boy, Clash Of Kings and Buckle Up Mason collided on the first turn checking Buckle Up Mason and Kerrigan Bale.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. D. McDonald (representing trainer Mrs. D. Drynan) handler of the greyhound Chica Destacada, regarding his failure to supply a catcher for the greyhound pursuant to GAR 48.

Mr. McDonald also advised Stewards that Chica Destacada will be kennelled at his property until the completion of the Melbourne Cup Series, however Mrs. D. Drynan remains the trainer of the greyhound.

Blurred Lines was slow to begin.  Blurred Lines and Crackerjack Dak collided soon after the start.  Iva Vision and Gorham Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Crackerjack Dak and Keybow collided approaching the second turn.  Take Charge, Crackerjack Dak and Iva Vision collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Dak.  Oakvale Flyer and Crawf's Bread collided approaching the home turn.  Take Charge checked off Iva Vision approaching the home turn.

Peloton Bale was slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Amigo, Hekate Belle and Oscura collided soon after the start.  Oscura and Nockabout Aussie collided approaching the first turn.  Oscura galloped on the heels of Nockabout Aussie on the first turn checking Allen Deed, Oscura and Nockabout Aussie.  Star Recall and Tiggerlong Amigo collided approaching the second turn.  Peloton Bale, Hekate Belle and We Are Geelong collided approaching the second turn checking We Are Geelong.  We Are Geelong checked off Nockabout Aussie on the third turn.  Oscura and Nockabout Aussie collided approaching the home turn.  Peloton Bale and Nockabout Aussie collided in the home straight.  Allen Deed raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. T. Mitchell, trainer of the greyhound Peloton Bale regarding his failure to have his registration card when requested by the Stewards pursuant to GAR 28.

Bessy Boo and Texas Titan were slow to begin.  Shoulders and Summer Wages collided soon after the start.  Shoulders checked off Superfonic on the first turn.  Summer Wages and My Bro Fabio collided on the first turn.  Bessy Boo, Texas Titan and Summer Wages collided on the first turn severely checking Texas Titan.  My Bro Fabio raced wide in the back straight.  Shoulders and Superfonic collided approaching the home turn checking Bessy Boo and Superfonic.

Dyna Kayla was quick to begin.  Lady Toy, Ima Fairytale and Beks were slow to begin.  Zipping Maggie and Dyna Kayla collided on the first turn checking Dyna Kayla and Julie Bale.  Beks checked off Julie Bale approaching the fourth turn.  Ima Fairytale and Lady Toy collided entering the back straight checking Ima Fairytale and Acola Rosebud.  Zipping Maggie, Dyna Kayla and Beks collided approaching the home turn.  Sisco Rage and Julie Bale collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Beks and Dyna Kayla collided in the home straight.  Ima Fairytale tailed off in the home straight.

Ima Fairytale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's right triceps and right thigh.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Cachia, trainer of the greyhound Ima Fairytale.  Stewards deemed the performance of Ima Fairytale unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ima Fairytale must peform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Starc, Becci Leone and Zipping Rory were slow to begin.  Starc and Zipping Rory collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Joe and Shot To Bits collided on the first turn checking Zipping Joe and Blinker's On, severely checking Born Ali which stumbled and tailed off and causing Starc, Shot To Bits and Zipping Rory to fall.  Zipping Joe and Blinker's On collided on the second turn.

Born Ali was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Starc was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left wrist and left hind webbing.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Shot To Bits was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right hock.  A 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Rory was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to it's left hock.  No stand down period was imposed.

Ollie Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bazza's Gift was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right chest.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
