An Out of Competition sample was taken from One Dee engaged in this event on Tuesday 11th November 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Maximus Glider was slow to begin. Musquin Bale and Buckle Up Wes collided soon after the start. Joey Valdez and National Time collided soon after the start. One Dee, Joey Valdez and National Time collided approaching the first turn. Joey Valdez, National Time, Buckle Up Wes and Bazza's Gift collided approaching the first turn. National Time, Buckle Up Wes and Bazza's Gift collided on the first turn. National Time, Musquin Bale and Buckle Up Wes collided on the first turn checking Buckle Up Wes and Bazza's Gift. Maximus Glider and Musquin Bale collided on the first turn. Buckle Up Wes and Bazza's Gift collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. National Time and Buckle Up Wes collided on the home turn.
Buckle Up Wes was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Bazza's Gift was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right chest. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
