Steward's Report
Lakeview Ally, Mumbo Alarm and Catch The Outlaw were slow to begin.
Lindenow Patch visibly eased in back straight and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr John Musselwhite regarding Lindenow Patch’s racing manners in the back straight. Mr. Musselwhite declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Lindenow Patch was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Musselwhite pleaded guilty to the charge. Lindenow Patch was suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Dr. Asher - the winner of the event.
