A pre race sample was taken from Pure Glory.
Cosmic Tate was quick to begin.
Claretown Snowy, Margins and Black And Pretty were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Taina Bale checked off Margins on the first turn severely checking Cudgee George, Back And Pretty, Claretown Snowy and Taina Bale. Margins checked off Earl Bale on the first turn. Earl Bale galloped on the heels of Pure Glory approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Margins checked off Earl Bale approaching the home turn.
Taina Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left wirst and an injured left pencil, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
