Sting Like Ali was slow to begin, stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.
Marungi Choice and Phaser Bale collided soon after the start. All Bar One crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Necro Bale and Jeddy Bale. Necro Bale checked off Lila's Girl approaching the first turn. Maungi Choice and Blue Suede Girl collided on the first turn severely checking Blue Suede Girl, Lila's Girl and Sting Like Ali, Sting Like Ali fell as a result. Lila's Girl checked off Necro Bale approaching the home turn.
Blue Suede Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured the left quadriceps and hamstring and a sprained left hind digit, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Sting Like Ali was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triceps, right quadriceps and spike wounds to the right hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Lila's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
