Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Matt's Shadow.
Aston Recall and Flash Bang were quick to begin. Angry Franky was slow to begin.
Matt's Shadow raced wide in the home straight.
Flash Bang (lost ground turning out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey, right wrist and left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Alice Peat regarding the racing manners of Flash Bang on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Peat, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Cruisy Magic (checked and fell turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
