Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 19.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 15.8 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Bruree Luck.
Bruree Luck, Henchmen and Scout's Way were quick to begin. Copperhead Dash, Fitzroy Halle and Spirited Sal were slow to begin.
Scout's Way (checked and lost ground at the 200m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left gracilis injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Due to an issue with the first split timing system, the first split for this event was recorded via isolynx.
