Steward's Report
Demolish was quick to begin. Inner Vision went up with the lids and was slow to begin.
Moraine Ella (severely checked and fell turning into the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Moraine Emma (turned head outwards to the fallen greyhound entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Glenn Judd regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Judd, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards issued a warning to connections. In arriving at this decision, Stewards took into consideration the fall of Moraine Ella in front of Moraine Emma and the effect this incident would reasonably have had on the racing manners of Moraine Emma.
There was no head on vision available for this race.
