Steward's Report
Snow Renaissance and Vlasta Bale were quick to begin. Daren's tiger and Aston Dahlia were slow to begin.
Vlasta Bale (marred Luna Beauty in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wounds to both hocks. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Cameron Hudson regarding Vlasta Bale’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Vlasta Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Hudson pleaded guilty to the charge. Vlasta Bale was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Banana Joe (checked in the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
