Tabby's Tiger was quick to begin. Noisemaker and Red Trump were slow to begin. Noisemaker and Red Trump collided approaching the first turn. Open All Nite crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Red Trump and Flux Capacitor. San Tan Trout and Miss Jules collided on the first turn. Accurate contacted the running rail entering the back straight. Tabby's Tiger and Open All Nite collided on the second turn checking Tabby's Tiger. San Tan Trout and Miss Jules collided on the second turn checking San Tan Trout. San Tan Trout checked off Accurate approaching the home turn. Miss Jules clipped the heels of Tabby's Tiger approaching the home turn. Tabby's Tiger and Miss Jules collided on the home turn, entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Noisemaker and Open All Nite collided approaching the winning post.
San Tan Trout was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
