Steward's Report
Seductive Torch was quick to begin. Gee Whiz Gran and Isa Hillbilly were slow to begin. Surprise Billy, Isa Hillbilly and Black Hooligan collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Seductive Torch and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn checking Seductive Torch. Surprise Billy checked off Black Hooligan on the first turn. Surprise Billy galloped on Isa Hillbilly on the first turn checking Isa Hillbilly severely checking Surprise Billy which stumbled. Gee Whiz Gran and Black Hooligan collided on the first turn checking Gee Whiz Gran. Seductive Torch and Galloping Gem collided approaching the home turn. I've Got Spirit and Isa Hillbilly collided approaching the home turn. Seductive Torch and Isa Hillbilly collided on the home turn. Black Hooligan checked off Isa Hillbilly entering the home straight.
Surprise Billy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right wrist and right pencil muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Isa Hillbilly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Lethal Blue trialled over 440m from box 6, weight 32.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.32, the greyhound won by a margin of 7.25 lengths. Lethal Blue was Cleared.
