Steward's Report
Davis and Ecliptic were slow to begin. Ecliptic checked off Snake Charmer soon after the start. Cosmic Black checked off Snake Charmer approaching the first turn. Metamorphis, Hey Rex and Elgin Lane collided approaching the first turn. Hey Rex galloped on the heels of Elgin Lane on the first turn checking Hey Rex, Star Girl and Ecliptic. Cosmic Black and Metamorphis collided on the home turn. Eliptic raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Womann, the handler of Star Girl and issued him with a warning for his attempt to box the greyhound in the incorrect box.
Metamorphis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
