Just Naughty underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Roberts, the trainer of Just Naughty regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Just Naughty was charged with marring.  Mr Roberts pleaded guilty to the charge, Just Naughty was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Crymelon Quick and Sound The Bugle collided soon after the start.  Natalia Lee and President Peggy collided approaching the first turn.  President Peggy and Sound The Bugle collided on the first turn.  Natalia Lee brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Crymelon Quick checked off President Peggy on the home turn; causing Crymelon Quick to stumble and lose ground.

Crymelon Quick underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Lala Fig underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg torn nail injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Coach Klein underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Mr John Kruisselbrink was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Falconetti pursuant to GAR 33.

Habits To Burn was quick to begin.

Falconetti, Jaggered and Joffa's Princess collided soon after the start, checking Falconetti.  Falconetti faltered in the back straight and tailed off.  Way To Stand and Craftsman collided on the first turn.  Habits To Burn and Tapering Off collided entering the home straight.

Falconetti underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Perry checked off Aston Stella on the first turn.  Just Admit It and Impatient Arty collided on the first turn; severely checking Impatient Arty; causing Impatient Arty to fall.  On The Air checked off Trever's Desire on the first turn.  Dr. Perry and Aston Stella collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Stella and Iron Lad collided on the home turn.  Dr. Perry checked off Coco To Burn in the home straight.

Trever's Desire underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Impatient Arty underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Coco To Burn – trainer, Mr Wayne Gray was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards.  The comments of Mr Gray were noted.  Stewards directed a post race sample be taken from the greyhound, the winner of the Event.

Worms Are Biting was slow to begin.

Sir Julian, Elusive Bec and Asquith Bale collided soon after the start; checking Sir Julian and Elusive Bec.  Worms Are Biting and Pull Shot collided soon after the start; causing the muzzle of Pull Shot to become dislodged.  Sir Julian and Elusive Bec collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Jayla Bale and Pull Shot collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Sir Julian checked off Pull Shot on the home turn.  Jayla Bale and Pull Shot collided in the home straight.

Aston Cleo – trainer, Mr Paul Herry was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards.  The comments of Mr Herry were noted.  Stewards directed a post race sample be taken from Aston Cleo - unplaced in the event.  A subsequent veterinary examination revealed injuries to the right back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
