Double Up and Husky Freckle were slow to begin.
Twilight Connie and Harsh Jude collided several times on the first turn checking Twilight Connie. Twilight Connie faltered approaching the home turn. Harsh Jude checked off Midnight Fussed in the home straight. Double Up and Lil Gus collided approaching the winning post.
Twilight Connie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in the left hip. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
