The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Maddingley Magic with Mr John Mangion and noted their comments.
Army's Remy was quick to begin. Mcivor Specks was slow to begin. Tommy Cawbourne was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Ready To Launch and Gold Tie Bob collided soon after the start. Gold Tie Bob checked off the heels of Little Miss Me on the first turn. Mcivor Specks checked off Gold Tie Bob in the back straight. Ready To Launch and Little Miss Me collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Ready To Launch and Skibo Boy collided in the home straight. Gold Tie Bob checked off Little Miss Me in the home straight.
Little Miss Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing to the left hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
