Riverdale Goldie was slow to begin.
Riverdale Tommy went up with the lids at boxrise. Accused and Aston Marla collided soon after the start. Magic Panther checked off Short Tyson and collided with Riverdale Tommy, Accused and Riverdale Goldie. Riverdale Tommy and Accused collided approaching the first turn. Aston Marla checked off Short Tyson approaching the first turn; Aston Marla lost ground as a result. Riverdale Goldie and Magic Panther collided approaching the home turn. Accused, Aston Marla and Katie Cortis shifted out and raced wide on the home turn.
