Fire Maple Song was a late scratching at 9.13am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Blue To Bits was quick to begin. Flippin' Good checked off La Porsche approaching the home turn. Atlas Profit checked off Soho Goodwill approaching the home turn. Flippin' Good was held up for a run for a short distance on the home turn. Flippin' Good brushed the running rail entering the home straight.
Flippin' Good was vetted following the event. It was reported that no apparent injury could be detected.
