Steward's Report
Wizard Of Offaly, All Prancer and Claretown Bart were slow to begin. All Prancer checked off Bernmar Percy approaching the first turn. Claretown Bart and Tiger Pride collided approaching the first turn. Tortilla Miss raced wide on the home turn. Bernmar Percy and Claretown Bart collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Tortilla Miss raced wide in the home straight.
Tortilla Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr William Donlon trainer of the greyhound Wizard Of Offaly which performed above market expectations. Mr Donlon stated that the greyhound had been trialling well, and after beginning well today was able to avoid interference. Mr Donlon further stated that he expected the greyhound to perform well today.
