Stressful raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Laurel May was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right coupling and left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Peter Frost, trainer of Laurel May, redeclared a new weight of 25.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Laurel May last raced at 24.1kg.

Wizard Of Offaly, All Prancer and Claretown Bart were slow to begin. All Prancer checked off Bernmar Percy approaching the first turn. Claretown Bart and Tiger Pride collided approaching the first turn. Tortilla Miss raced wide on the home turn. Bernmar Percy and Claretown Bart collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Tortilla Miss raced wide in the home straight.

Tortilla Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr William Donlon trainer of the greyhound Wizard Of Offaly which performed above market expectations. Mr Donlon stated that the greyhound had been trialling well, and after beginning well today was able to avoid interference. Mr Donlon further stated that he expected the greyhound to perform well today.

Major Missile and Jarvo were slow to begin. Stinga Blaze, Major Missile and Jarvo collided soon after the start. Nindigully Boy and Dr. Debbie collided on the first turn. Stinga Blaze checked off Dr. Debbie on the home turn.

Crowdza Buzzing was slow to begin. Fos Newman brushed the running rail on the first turn. Where's Claudia checked off Suzie Sanderson approaching the home turn checking Pentapod. Red Sally checked off Norma's Moment on the home turn. Where's Claudia, Red Sally and Pentapod collided on the home turn checking Red Sally and severely checking Where's Claudia and Pentapod, Pentapod stumbled as a result.

Crowdza Talking and Regal Diamonds collided approaching the first turn. Regal Diamonds and Nowitzki collided approaching the first turn. Premier Magpie, Crowdza Talking, Regal Diamonds and Southwood Lexie collided on the first turn checking Crowdza Talking and Regal Diamonds. Nowitzki and Mahogany Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Mahogany Boy. Shiraz Reef and Go Sniper collided approaching the home turn checking Go Sniper. Premier Magpie and Southwood Lexie collided on the home turn. Premier Magpie and Regal Diamonds collided on the home turn. Premier Magpie and Southwood Lexie collided in the home straight checking Southwood Lexie.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Kevin Quinn, the trainer of Mahogany Boy regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

Cooly Queen, Oscar Shiraz and Fear Her collided on the first turn. Fear Her and Honeypot Agogo collided entering the back straight. Cooly Queen checked off Oscar Shiraz in the back straight. Crowbar and Mahogany Spirit collided on the second turn checking Crowbar. 

Jack's Brutus went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Mr. Growie, Conquer Fear and Unavoidable collided soon after the start. Matty's Caravan checked off Regal Gladiator approaching the first turn. Mr. Growie checked off Miss Grithinbush approaching the first turn. Mr. Growie and Conquer Fear collided on the first turn checking Unavoidable. Matty's Caravan checked off Baffle Plate approaching the home turn checking Baffle Plate which raced wide. Jack's Brutus and Conquer Fear collided in the home straight. Mr. Growie raced wide in the home straight.

Allert Lea and Prancing Lad were slow to begin. Don's Bullet and Dream Earner collided soon after the start. Sundaram and Marlow Flight collided on the first turn checking Sundaram. Red Cry and Marlow Flight collided on the first turn checking Red Cry. Red Cry, Sundaram and Dream Earner collided entering the back straight. Sundaram and Allert Lea collided in the back straight checking Sundaram. Phebu raced wide on the home turn. Dream Earner eased in the home straight and collided with Red Cry. 

Dream Earner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Formosa, the Trainer of the greyhound Dream Earner. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Dream Earner with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Where's Crocky was quick to begin. Pipeline Hero, Miss Predator and Elite Tulip collided soon after the start. Kallara Tipene checked off Eumeralla Danny on the first turn checking Miss Predator and Haggis Lad. Haggis Lad checked off Pipeline Hero on the home turn.

Destiny's List raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Lipstick Stain checked off Pason Sander in the home straight. Fire Maple Song was a late scratching at 9.13am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blue To Bits was quick to begin. Flippin' Good checked off La Porsche approaching the home turn. Atlas Profit checked off Soho Goodwill approaching the home turn. Flippin' Good was held up for a run for a short distance on the home turn. Flippin' Good brushed the running rail entering the home straight. 

Flippin' Good was vetted following the event. It was reported that no apparent injury could be detected.

Perfect Flash and Classy Tulip were slow to begin.  Monarco and Don's Legend collided soon after the start. Classy Tulip and Oriental Outlaw collided soon after the start. Monarco and Don's Legend collided on the first turn checking Monarco. Perfect Flash checked off Oriental Outlaw on the first turn checking Classy Tulip. Bit Iffy raced wide approaching the home turn. Perfect Flash checked off Bit Iffy approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result. Monarco checked off Bit Iffy on the home turn and raced wide as a result. Don's Legend, I'm A Meade and Perfect Flash collided entering the home straight severely checking all three greyhounds. I'm A Meade and Don's Legend collided in the home straight.  Pefect Flash eased approaching the winning post.

Don's Legend was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury detected.

Bit Iffy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Perfect Flash was vetted  and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Daisley, the handler of the greyhound Perfect Flash.  Acting under Gar 69 (A)(1) stewards charged Perfect Flash with failing  to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days (Ballarat) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory trial results - Tail Light trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 30.1kg , the greyhound was placed 3 in a filed of 4. The time of the trial was 22.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14 lengths.  Tail Light was cleared.

Major Crush trialled over the 390m from box 3, weight 28.9kg , the greyhound was placed 1st  in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.18, the greyhound won by a margin of 7.5 lengths.  Major Crush was cleared.

Major Threat trialled over the 390m from box 5, weight 29.6kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 15. Major Threat was cleared.

Sanz Gold trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 34.0kg , the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.18, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5 lengths.  Sanz Gold was cleared.

Why Not Lizzie trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 29.2kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 3. The time of the trial was 23.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.75 lengths.  Why Not Lizzie was not cleared.
