Steward's Report
Micko Fozz went up with the lids at box rise at was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Matua was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Kokoda Moss, Storm Allen, Miss Bo Wicked and Julie Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Bo Wicked and Storm Allen. Breaking News and Kokoda Moss collided on the first turn checking Breaking News. Julie Bale and Breaking News collided in the front straight. Micko Fozz hit the running rail on the second turn checking Miss Bo Wicked. Miss Bo Wicked checked off Julie Bale on the fourth turn and again approaching the home turn. Storm Allen and Julie Bale collided approaching the winning post.
Micko Fozz was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Levett, the trainer of the greyhound Matua regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start.
Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in the event - Kokoda Moss (1st) and Matua (2nd).
