Steward's Report
Ferdinand Boy and Unathi Bale were quick to begin. Matt's Hope was slow to begin.
Matt's Hope collided with the inside running rail approaching the home turn and fell, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left foreleg, shoulder and chest area. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. The Stewards spoke to Mr Ben Magri, the kennel representitive of Matt's Hope. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Magri to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Matt's Hope in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Post-race samples were taken from Ferdinand Boy (1st) and Mobile Legend (2nd).
