Fire And Fury was quick to begin.
Crackerjack Ads and Weblec Scout collided soon after the start checking Weblec Scout. Jagger Bale and Crackerjack Ads collided approaching the first turn checking Jagger Bale, Weblec Scout and Nino's Girl, severely checking Mallee Swan and Cawbourne Coco, Mallee Swan fell as a result.
Mallee Swan underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Cawbourne Coco underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lost/torn nail to the right front foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
