Steward's Report
Cloudy Diamond and Diama Miss collided approaching the first turn, checking Diama Miss. Nunninong Bear, Yuna Bale and Oseye Bale collided approaching the first turn. Cloudy Diamond checked off Yuna Bale on the first turn. Oseye Bale and Exford Norm collided approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Diama Miss turned it's head outwards and collided with Exford Norm in the home straight.
Diama Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Anthony Clarke-Bruce the trainer of Diama Miss regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Diama Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Clarke-Bruce pleaded guilty to the charge, Diama Miss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
